‘Tough luck’: ‘I’m not going to change my life’
Posted June 08, 2019 08:50:50My first concussion came from a football that I got in the ring.
It was the first time I ever got hit in the head and it wasn’t bad.
I think it was like four or five years ago.
I was really lucky to get out of it.
I didn’t go through anything like that.
I was just doing the best I could to stay in the game and be a good teammate and a good player.
It’s something I can live with.
I don’t have any negative experiences with the concussion.
It just makes me feel like it’s something that’s happening, and that’s just not going away.
I’ve always said that the hardest part is having to live with it.
You get used to it and then when it happens it’s a completely different feeling.
You can’t control it and you can’t change it.
I’m always thankful for what I’ve got and I want to help people.
But it’s not going anywhere.
I feel like my head is the only thing I’ve ever had that’s kept me healthy.
When I get hit, I know I’ve done something right.
I want to thank everyone who has been kind to me.
I’ve been a huge support system to my family and I’ve also had a lot of support from the team.
I feel like I’m a better person for it.
