You can’t see the poster that has been making the rounds on Tumblr, but you can definitely make out the words “Beatles” and “post office”.
That’s because this post office poster is the work of one of the Beatles’ most famous collaborators.
In a video posted to Tumblr by the Beatles, George Martin talks about the design process behind the poster, the process of making the poster and how he learned about the concept of “postal posters”.
Martin has a long history with the Postal Service, and in the past has worked on posters for the company.
In the video, he talks about how he came up with the concept for the poster: “We went to the post office and they had these little metal boxes, which are basically a giant post office box, and you would put stamps in there, and then you’d write in the stamp that was the postmark for the address and the name of the postoffice, and the address would be printed on the side of the box.”
He went on to say that he knew that there was going to be a lot of people coming in the post, so he figured, “Hey, let’s put a poster on there.”
The poster for the post was designed by Martin and the postmaster in Los Angeles.
After the initial concept had been decided, Martin went to his brother’s house and worked on the poster.
Martin said that it took about six months to design the poster with the idea of a post office as the central element.
The idea was to have a poster that would look like a postcard.
“I’m not sure if you’ve seen this poster, but this is what the post is going to look like,” Martin said.
He said that the poster will have the words, “Post Office,” written on it.
Martin’s brother’s family were all postal workers and the poster would be a representation of the working life.
Martin explained that the idea came from a “real postcard thing” that he had seen.
He went into a store, where he picked up a post from the postboxes and put it in the poster box.
He then put a label on the label that said, “This is a poster.
This is a post.
This will be sent by mail.”
Martin explained, “So this is the real postcard part, which is a very real post office that was built in the 1800s, so there’s a real sense of history that goes into this poster.”
He said he also wanted to do something different from a post card, so Martin picked up an American postcard with the same label.
“And this is a great postcard,” he said.
“It’s like a modern day postcard, and I wanted to put it on a poster.”
The postcard design is not the first time that Martin has used postcards.
Martin did an American Postcard in 2000, which was a postcards-inspired poster.
And he did an Australian Postcard with a similar label in 2004.
Martin and his brother, Paul, worked on another poster for Post Office that was released in 2005.
The postcards, along with a song by the Eagles, were the inspiration for the Beatles posters.
In an interview with MTV in 2015, Martin revealed that he also had ideas for posters for other brands.
“There’s a whole list of things we can do, but I’m a very visual person and I like to make things that are sort of geometric and not have a lot to do with colour or anything,” Martin explained.
Martin has been doing poster design since he was in high school, but he said that he always preferred the process with a paper-based concept over one with a digital one.
“Because it’s easier to do digitally, because you can use your paper, and there’s no real way of tracing,” Martin told MTV.
“So I like paper, because I’m not a painter or a sculptor.
I like the feel of paper, I like it for its simplicity.”
He continued, “I think you always have to make sure you’re doing something that feels natural and feels naturalistic.”
He explained, saying, “It always feels natural, but then you’ve got to try and make sure it’s not overly technical or too detailed.
And I think sometimes the more you have to do it digitally, the more it becomes an aesthetic thing.”
Martin said he has been trying to get more creative with his designs, even though he admits that it is difficult to get anything out of it.
“You can’t just do something like this,” he explained.
“Sometimes you’ve gotta do something completely different.
Sometimes you’ve just got to do the same thing that I did in highschool, which I always try to do.”
Martin is now working on a new poster for a company called Fetch, which he is hoping to open in early 2018.
