Posted by Jason Ståhl, IGN Starring Jason Stahl and Jason Staciotto as two brothers, this is a film noir about the rise and fall of a young Italian mobster.
In the 1980s, the Italian mafia thrived in the country’s coastal city of Genoa, where it established a thriving business and flourished, largely thanks to the help of a well-connected family.
It’s a story of revenge and betrayal that’s been told for decades and is one of the most popular in the history of Italian crime fiction.
Stahl is set to direct the sequel, and Staciotta is a production designer and costume designer on the film, which is set for release in 2018.
Ståls character is a tough, tough-as-nails criminal who’s seen the true cost of the Mafia’s power before.
The film is a prequel to the first movie in the series, which came out in 1982.
Staciotti and Stållas production company, C.T.A., was responsible for the film’s production.
The project will take place in Genoa and take place between the first film’s events and the second film’s aftermath.
SciotoPost has a lot of cool news to share today, so we’ll start with some behind-the-scenes pictures.
Ståhl will be directing a sequel to his 2010 sci-fi film, The Night Stalker, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
The Night Shalker is the only film to feature the iconic face of a detective (Jules Kroll) on screen.
Sthl has also appeared in several other film and television projects, including a short in the Star Trek: Voyager TV series.
We spoke to Stål, who told IGN that he’s always had an affinity for detective work.
He credits a lot to his dad, who was a cop for 15 years before becoming a crime writer.
He also mentioned that the fact that he was never a cop himself has helped shape his style of storytelling.
Stæl was also excited to be in the director’s chair on the project.
“I was just so excited to work with Jason Sthl on this.
I’ve always had a lot in common with him.
He’s an incredible filmmaker.
I just think he’s one of those filmmakers that you have to work for something that he loves,” he said.
“We really had an amazing time with him on this one.
He made the film that he wanted to make, which was very much his idea and was the most fun I’ve had working on a movie of that nature.
I’m really happy to be a part of it.
It was a real honor.
The people in the film world are really great.
He and his team really have a way of capturing the mood of the film.
The dialogue is so expressive and the cinematography is so cinematic and just so very cinematic.”
Stahl said that the movie will take a more contemporary tone than the first, and he was especially pleased with how the first came together.
“The movie is very much set in the future.
It has a much more modern tone to it.
The idea was to create something that feels like it was filmed in the 1980, 1980s,” he explained.
“It was really important to me to capture the mood that Genoa had in the mid-80s, but also have it feel contemporary in some ways.
It feels like an original movie.”
Stäl’s co-star, Kroll, also praised his co-director.
“He’s a fantastic director, he’s a brilliant actor.
He has an incredible sense of style and what you can do with your hands and how you can get that effect.
I really respect him,” he told IGN.
“I’m thrilled that he did this project and it’s been such a pleasure.
I know we have a lot more work to do, but I’m thrilled to be able to be part of the team.”
C.T., which produces the movie, said that Stås involvement with the project is a great credit to the team.
“The production team was very welcoming to Jason’s ideas.
He was a true collaboration partner.
He knew the story very well and was able to take a different approach to it,” C.C. said.
He added that the director was incredibly passionate about the film and its storytelling.
“We’re very proud of Jason and the project and excited to have him back.
He brings so much to the table, and his knowledge and passion for this project makes it even more special.”
